You will then be sent;
a) an introductory letter giving details about the club
b) a sample bulletin giving you an idea of the type of events we hold
c) a registration form for applying to become a prospective member of the club.
Once you have filled in the form and returned it, you are then entitled to three months free membership.
You can start going to events as soon as you like. Each event in the bulletin has an accompanying name and telephone number of the host. We recommend you telephone the host of any event you are thinking of attending to ask them to look out for you.
Events we would recommend as particularly suitable for new and prospective members are:
- ten pin bowling
- walks
- meals
- events which have some sort of activity e.g. games or quizzes
- "ice breaker" events which are held every month
Once you have returned your registration form you will receive an application form with your next bulletin.There is a space on this to collect signatures when you attend events. You need to collect three signatures to apply to become a club member. The signatures can be from a:
Once you have collected three signatures, you can apply to become a club member. Any time left on your three free months membership will be added to your first year's membership. The current annual fees for membership are:
